SOUND (& LIGHTS)
Live sound is a fun art, and an important one for our in house experience. We run a PreSonus StudioLive mixing system that is easy to learn, easy to use, and balances all the audio elements we hear in the sanctuary. All you need is a good ear for sound, a mind for technology and we’ll bring you up to speed with the rest. Our lighting system is simple (hence the parentheses!) - if you can flip a switch or move a dimmer, both right next to the soundboard, you’re good to go!
VIDEO SCREENS
This vital area keeps us singing along, following the sermon, and supports those on the stage by providing lyrics and words on our video screens throughout the sanctuary. We use ProPresenter running from an Apple Mac Mini that is intuitive to use and simple to learn. You don’t need great computer skills to pick this stuff up, so give it a go! This is a great place to start if you’re new to technology in church.
ONLINE WORSHIP
Our Livestream system encompasses audio mixing and visual elements that stream live to our YouTube and Facebook channels. Our setup is simple, with a basic ATEM Mini Pro controller, four video feeds (three stationary cameras), and a separate audio link from our sound system that is mixed independently. You don’t need to be skilled in both audio and visuals to serve here - we have folks who cover the visuals, and folks who cover the sound, and folks who like to do both - it’s all good!
