F.A.Q.

Here is a short list of frequently asked questions that you may have about visiting New Life Vineyard Church for a Sunday service.

Q: WHAT KIND OF CHURCH IS THIS?

We stand alongside centuries of Christian tradition in embracing the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed. We also see Christianity as a continuation of the long story of God’s work in the world.  By definition, we’re non-denominational and are associated with the Vineyard movement.

Q: what if i’m not sure what i believe?

Great! New Life Vineyard is a church for passionate believers and hopeful skeptics. We are all in different places along somewhere on that spectrum, and we come together to experience community, learn the ways of Jesus, and experience God.

Q: How long are your services?

Our Sunday worship service normally runs for about 75 minutes (1 hour, 15 minutes).

Q: What are your services like?

Our usual Sunday liturgy goes something like this:

-Worship Songs
-Responsive Reading
-Welcome & Video Announcements
-Worship Songs
-Message
-Ministry Time/Communion

Q: what about our kids?

Children remain in the service for the first 15-20 minutes and then are dismissed to their own teaching time.

Q: what do i wear?

The Vineyard Movement was founded by ex-hippies so we’re known for dressing casual. At the same time, we don’t make a big deal out of attire. We think God is more interested in what’s inside.

Q: CAN I TAKE COMMUNION?

If you come from a different Christian tradition, this might be an important question to you. We offer an opportunity to take communion each week at New Life Vineyard. Once per month we offer communion during the Sunday service and the remaining weeks it’s always available on the sides of the sanctuary. In the Vineyard we practice open communion which means that all Christians are welcome to participate.
