HOSPITALITY TEAM
Be a part of the welcoming atmosphere NLV is known for! The Hospitality Team is a crucial part of the warm, friendly culture we have, and we need your smiling face and warm handshake on the team! This is a great entry point into serving for anyone interested in participating. Another benefit of being on the hospitality team is that you don’t need to attend a second service to be a part of worship or hear the sermon! Training will be provided by Pastor Larry.
Responsibilities:
Arrive at church at least 30 minutes prior to service to meet and pray as a team.
As a team, we ask that you would also do a quick straightening up of the sanctuary and foyer following services. Examples: Straighten chairs, pick up loose papers, put bibles back under chairs, empty trash cans as necessary, etc..
Do a quick clean-up after your service by emptying trash, walking through the sanctuary to remove anything left behind, and other miscellaneous things.
There are 3 assigned positions on the hospitality team:
Door Greeter
Hold the door and welcome people into the building.
Info Center
Answer questions, help with visitors orientation, and help connect congregants with the relevant pastor(s) for further assistance.
Usher
Hand out the bulletin, help congregants find seats, and receive the offering during service. On the 1st Sunday of the month they also distribute communion.
